100 Years of Solitude Episode 6 Recap: Colonel Aureliano Buendia

Our coverage of the Colombian Netflix series, 100 Years of Solitude continues, adapted from the renowned magical realism novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Episode 6 is called Colonel Aureliano Buendia. In this week's episode, the prodigal Jose Arcadio II has come home, upsetting the order of the house. But is that wedding bells I hear? Meanwhile, Aureliano begins realizing that his father-in-law may have some twisted ideas of how to influence elections. A true believer in free choice, Aureliano tries to maintain a position of neutrality but finally has to choose a side.
