Our coverage of the Colombian Netflix series, 100 Years of Solitude continues, adapted from the renowned magical realism novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Episode 3 is called A Daguerreotype of God. A new family member shows up, bringing new surprises, inter-family conflict, and a mysterious plague that makes people forget. As the children age, they begin to explore romance and the possibility of finding a domestic partner.

Rebeca's entry opens up more talk of colonialism and her hankering for eating dirt. And there are new toys to play with, including a camera that may capture God, and a pianola, personally delivered by a red-headed Italian.
