Sweet Child of Time Presents: Time Bandits the 1981 Film

Apple TV will drop a new TV series, TIME BANDITS, based on the 1981 fantasy film directed by Terry Gilliam. 1ofmystories has never seen the movie and wanted to know about this formative film from Steve’s childhood. Also joining us is Aradiapedia from the Wheel of Time Spoilers podcast. Movie description: Kevin loves history with every fiber of his being. His parents prefer to digest upon television series that vegetate their brains and make them non-curious. But when little people burst through his closet one evening, Kevin follows them through the portals of history on a grand adventure. Starring Terry Gilliam and co-written by Gilliam and Michael Palin, TIME BANDITS is a film that gave many children sweet dreams and nightmares for years to come after.

The TV show will drop on July 24, 2024 on Apple TV and will be directed by Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement.
