My fellow film critic Gerald Morris invited me to talk about Inside Out 2 with him on his podcast, Two Peas on a Podcast. Inside Out 2 is a sequel to the runaway hit, Inside Out (2015). Directed by first time director Kelsey Mann. Inside Out 2 stars Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Tony Hale, Liza Lapira, Lewis Black, Maya Hawke, Ayo Edebiri, Adele Exarchopoulos, Paul Walter Hauser, and June Squibb. 

Continuing the story of Riley, Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger have all become a cooperative team of emotions that all help Riley operating without repression. But when Riley enter puberty, five new emotions show up claiming their importance to the mixture. Anxiety, in particular, believes Riley needs to make careful choices or risk being alone. Once again, a battle for control ensues. The emotions will need to come together if Riley is survive her last summer with her two best friends and hold on to a healthy sense of self.
